I got an email this week offering the "official" class ring of the University of Texas. Unlike Baylor and Tech, Texas doesn't have a ring specific to the Law School (unless I missed it).
How many law students who didn't go to UT undergrad get one? To any 3Ls who read this blog, are you getting one?
I'm thinking about it, especially since I never got one for my undergrad.

I didn't get one. Mostly because I couldn't afford one, but also because there wasn't a specific law school ring. I was sort of disappointed, because now I don't have an "official" ring. UTEP didn't move to an official ring until after I'd finished paying for my build-your-own ring a la high school rings. In a way, it's fun, because my ring is totes my own, but on the other hand, I think the official rings have a charm of their own, too.
Oh well.
That money could be spent better on hookers and blow. Especially hookers, and especially blow.
